Pareto notes from the light table.
A leaf has veins. A request has lanes. We study how to keep intelligence on the machine without pretending the cloud is free — or that local is always enough.
Pareto, here, is a kitchen word: the frontier between what the leaf can press locally and what must go to market. We do not publish borrowed percentages. We do not list customers. The work is the policy — local first, least cost, remainder routed.
If a mix of on-device and cloud traffic can cut token spend, it is because the default path stayed home. That is the hypothesis. Notes and errata go to team@routeleaf.food.
